Sno Mountain is still enjoying wonderful conditions from the 2 feet of snow that we received from last week’s snow storm. On top of that, the weather forecast is for warm and sunny days that will make the skiing/riding that much more enjoyable! Sno Mountain will offer 100% operations with 26 trails, 7 lifts, and 10 tubing chutes. We will be having the Haiti Jam 2010 on Saturday at 1. This rail jam is open to anyone and all proceeds are being donated to the Haiti Relief Fund. Sno Mountain will also be having the 2010 Slush Plunge. This event, also open to the public, is at 3pm on Saturday and all proceeds also go to the Haiti Relief fund. Try and navigate your way over 80+ feet of icy cold water without falling in!!

The Sno Grille will have live entertainment and drink specials all weekend. So come on out and donate to a great cause and have the time of your life this weekend at Sno Mountain!!

2010 Slush Plunge

On Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm, come and try to make your way across 80 feet of ice cold, bone chilling water without falling in!! Prizes will be given out for best costume, best wipeout, etc.

Registration fee is $5 and all proceeds will be donated to the Haiti Relief Fund..

Haiti Jam 2010

On Saturday March 6th, Sno Mountian will be having a “ride for relief” rail jam with all proceeds going to the Haiti Earthquake Relief. Bear Creek Ski Shack and the American Red Cross are sponsoring the event. Registration is 10:00 am – 11:00 am with warmups at 12:00pm. The Rail Jam begins at 1:00pm.

The entrance fee is $20 and all proceeds go to the Haiti earthquake relief fund.

Sno Mountain is open without delay today Friday, February 26, 2010. 24+” of snow has fallen and 3″-5″ of additional snow is expected. The county guys did an awesome job with the road and it is ready for travel. So get ready to enjoy treeline to treeline powder!!

Snotubing will be CLOSED today and will reopen Saturday February 27,2010.

2/26-2/30 Weekend Outlook

What more do we have to say? Two feet on snow is on the way and it is sure to make the conditions at Sno Mountain, the BEST they have ever been. We know that the conditions are hard to improve on but mother nature is giving us an end of February gift for all of our dedicated skiers and riders. We will have daily drink specials in the the Sno Grille, along with live entertainment daily. So come on up and enjoy 100% operations and the greatest conditions around!!! Think Sno!!

Snowtubing will be closed today, Thursday, February 25th, due to extreme weather conditions. Snowtubing will resume normal operations on Friday, February 26th. Thank you.

Conditions for upcoming weekend are going to be perfect. We have been getting a fresh dusting of snow each night. The dusting each evening has been enhancing our already great conditions. 4th Annual Torchlight Parade and Firework Spectacular

Join us this Saturday, February 13th for our 4th annual torchlight parade and firework spectacular. Watch from our deck as skiers/riders come down a darkened mountain in perfect formation. Once they reach the base area and Marley orders the torches out, the fun begins. A 22 minute firework spectacular starts and ends with a finale that will have you talking for months! So bring the family and enjoy a great time here at Sno!

President’s Weekend Outlook

President’s weekend at Sno will be incredible! 14″ of new snow has fallen and has made our great conditions even better. Sno Mountain offers full operations with 26 trails, 7 lifts, and 10 tubing chutes. Every teaching area will be open along with 2 rental shops for your convenience. The ticket windows in the parking lot above the main stairs will also be open to help skiers/snowboarders avoid the ticket window lines. The Sno Grille will have live entertainment and drink specials daily. The 4th annual torchlight parade and fireworks spectacular will be held Saturday @ 6:30 pm. So bring the family up and celebrate President’s Weekend with us here at Sno Mountain!

February Snowstorm

We are finally getting some good snow today that our friends in the south (can you believe it?) have been enjoying. We figure to have 10+” of fresh snow by the time the storm ends. The fresh snow combined with our already great conditions will make perfect skiing/riding conditions, so come up and enjoy!! All trails and 5 lifts will be open. Snowtubing will be closed today, 2/10/2010 and will reopen on 2/11/2010.
