Race Program

The SNö Mountain Ski Team is season-long training program in either racing or freestyle skiing. Team members are coached and trained in these specialties at SNö Mountain. Some members also compete in USSA events at other ski areas as part of a travel team for SNö Mountain. We train hard and play hard! The Team has been very competitive in the region with much success…And yes… we do have Fun!

TRAVEL RACE TEAM and NON-TRAVEL RACE TEAM

This program provides in-depth training in the techniques and skills of alpine ski racing. This diverse supervised training is for the advanced intermediate and above skier who wants to improve their skiing to either compete in ski racing or just get better technique to enjoy ski racing as a recreation.

FREERIDE

If your desire is to conquer the bumps, learn the tricks of upright aerials or handle any extreme snow condition on the mountain, the SNö Mountain Freestyle Program does it all! The program focus is on developing technical skills for mogul competition and other training in all aspects of freestyle skiing.

SNO EXPLORERS

Not ready or interested in the competitive stuff! We have a free skiing group that meets and works on advanced skill development and skiing the mountain. Like ability levels and like age groups is the goal of this group. Ski the mountain with friends and have fun!

For Intermediate to Advance Skiers Ages 8 through 18.

Program Prices for 2009 -2010

Travel Team $375 without pass; with pass $825

Non-Travel Team and Sno Explorers $325 without pass; with pass $775

Wednesday Evening Gate Training Add $125

Program payable in full prior to the first day of training. We request receipt of payment and release/application form at least one week in advance of your start date.

All purchases are to be made at the Ski School Chalet once the area is open for skiing

The sessions are full day, regardless if the team member comes late or leaves early. A valid Lift Ticket or Snö Mountain Season Pass is required and is not provided in the cost of the training programs.

Special Notice: ALL Training is held on the property of SNö Mountain. In addition, SNö Mountain coaches may be attending USSA race events off of the SNö Mountain property. Any travel, memberships in USSA, competition fees and lift tickets at the host mountains are solely the responsibility of the parent and participant. Our coaches will meet the Ski Team members at the events at a predetermined time and place. Our coaches will have information on USSA & PARA Racing memberships and competitions; however, membership in any of these organizations is not a requirement of the SNö Mountain Program. They are, however, required if you would like to travel to events off SNö Mountain with the Ski Team Travel T eam. Visit websites www. ussa.org and www.paracing.org for more information.
